A paper trail
Pick one channel. apdocs posts joins, leaves, deletes, edits, and moderation. It records the member and the channel, not the message text, so Message Content can stay off.

Kick, ban, timeout, and warn from Discord. Turn the commands off for a server when you want them quiet.
Greet joins, note leaves, and hand out one auto-role. The message can name the member, the server, and the count.
